Social Studies Package - Technology Explosion - /Online
In this online unit you will explore modern American history including changes in population and immigration, policies of and challenges faced by several post-World War II presidents, important court cases from the last fifty years, and issues related to the end of the Cold War.
You'll also examine some modern environmental issues, technological advancements, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and modern popular music.
Throughout the unit you'll work on a final project, either creating an illustrated essay about changes in technology or planning a project for National History Day.
NOTE: The American History Timeline and American History Timeline Cards are required for this unit.
NOTE: The video series America: The Story of US is required for this unit and can be accessed online at various streaming sites.
