In the Social Studies Package - History of Your State, you’ll explore your state’s geography, ecosystems, history, economy, government, and culture from various angles. You’ll enjoy at least one family field trip and conduct independent research to deepen your understanding. Working with maps, census data, and other resources, you’ll create a trivia quiz to showcase what you’ve learned. As a final project, you can develop a short film or mural to share your state’s highlights with visitors at welcome centers.
