In this unit, your child will explore patterns all around him. He will learn to sequence events using growth patterns, understand that night and day happen because of the Earth's rotation, examine patterns in dates and seasons, and apply patterns to counting and graphs.

For the final project, your child will create a mini-books about different types of patterns and then assemble the books in a lapbook that he can share with friends and family.
