In the Habitats and Homes unit, students will learn about the requirements of a healthy environment and how to use maps to navigate their own environment. They will understand how tools make it easier to do hard tasks and how an animal's design enables it to thrive. For the final project, students will create a book about their own environment or about an animal and its environment.
This option provides online access to the Habitats and Homes curriculum. You will also need the required literature and manipulatives for this unit.
