In this unit, you'll learn about the causes of these wars, the impact of wars on both soldiers fighting on the front lines and on families on the homefront, the impact of new technologies, and the long-lasting effects of these wars on the United States and the world. For your final project, you'll create a board game that will help others have fun while learning more about World War II.

This unit can be used independently, but it is designed to be used in conjunction with the literature unit for Number the Stars.
