Speak a sentence to your child and let her tell you which punctuation mark the sentence would end in. Repeat this two or three times and then let your child take a turn making up sentences while you provide the punctuation. Let your child look through some of her books to find different examples of end punctuation.

Play a card game with your child such as Old Maid or Go Fish. Discuss the strategy behind the game and why it would be a challenge to play a card game with a dog.
