Use of Abacus

I am new to MBTP and very excited about the program. However, I never really learned how to use an abacus and am hoping for a link to a tube or other tutorial that demonstrates usage on an abacus similar to the one in the 7-9 Math curriculum kit. Some show moving beads left to right, some right to left, others have a different format altogether with two beads and a bar, etc. I homeschooled my granddaughter last year, and we did not use an abacus. I can see how it would be helpful, but don't want to confuse her by demonstrating it differently than the course does it.
