Hello-

Im considering jumping to MBTP, however I'm wondering about standardized testing. We live in a state where we have to do standardized tesing. For those of you that used MBTP did you find that your child scored decent on standardized tests? This is by far my biggest concern in picking a curriculum, because we do plan to go back to public school in the future.

My children have always scored well above average on their standardized tests. We live in Oregon and need to test in 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 11th grades. The fact that this curriculum goes well beyond the standards has ensured that my daughters are beyond their peers in our local public school (and are more than prepared for standardized testing).

I wouldn't worry much about their preparedness content-wise. But it would be a good idea to get released tests to practice the format beforehand.
