Many errors and typos

In the assigned book, "Presidential Elections and Other Cool Facts," on page 11, it erroneously states that Kennedy was the youngest president. In fact, it was Theodore Roosevelt. Kennedy was 43, but Roosevelt was 42. There should be a note in the online curriculum and workbooks to notify your customers that there is incorrect information in the book.

On this online curriculum page - https://www.movingbeyondthepage.com/online/lesson.aspx?unitID=58&lessonPartID=25092 - it states, "Discuss the Great Depression and how Roosevelt led the country thorough this time as well as through World War II." The word, "thorough" is erroneously used in place of "through."

On this online curriculum page - https://www.movingbeyondthepage.com/online/lesson.aspx?unitID=59&lessonPartID=394 - it states, "Tell you child..." when it should be "tell your child."

In the 9-11 curriculum, the "Handy Guide to Grammar and Writing" (https://www.movingbeyondthepage.com/online/handyguidetowritingandgrammar.pdf) has a grammatical error. A heading says, "Writers Guide" with no apostrophe. There is a typo on the first page, in the column of examples for the row "Helping Verb." There should be a comma after "shall" because, without the comma, the word reads as "shall would." There is another typo on the sixth page, under "Writing Tips," where it reads, "Showing the reader is much more effecting than telling the reader." The word should be "effective" rather "effecting."

We've been using Moving Beyond the Page for two weeks. I'm alarmed at how many simple errors there are! What is your proofreading process?

Shelly, Thank you for letting us know about the typos. The two errors you found in the 8-10 units have been corrected. The "Handy Guide to Grammar and Writing" is in the process of being completely redesigned and rewritten, so errors will be corrected in the new version.

Regarding the president note: it's true that Roosevelt was the youngest president, but the book correctly states that Kennedy was the youngest president ever *elected.* Roosevelt assumed office after McKinley's death.

We do have people who edit/proofread our material, but sometimes mistakes slip through. We are grateful when customers bring problems to our attention so they can be fixed.

Thanks for addressing the issues I raised. I've found a handful more:
- villains is misspelled in the display text for the worksheet link here: https://www.movingbeyondthepage.com/online/lesson.aspx?unitID=59&lessonPartID=482
- on that same web page, the phrase "he will role the cube" is under Activty 3, Option 2
- on the worksheet, "Electricity Vocabulary," the definition that's third from the bottom says, "...can be creared..."

Shelly,
Thanks for the heads up. I fixed the first two and am having one of our artists correct the last one.

If you prefer, feel free to email me directly if you find any additional errors. It's extremely helpful when customers alert us to problems, and we're very appreciative that you're taking the time to let us know about these issues.
