Gifted 4 & 5 year old brothers

I just ordered the 4-5 age range for my new 4 year old. He is already reading a bit, & his 5 year old brother is reading well above grade level. Initially, my plan was to order the 5-7 for my 5 year old. But the boys do really enjoy learning together most of the time. I'm wondering if I should keep my 5 year old reader at 4-5 level so that they can move up together & supplement where necessary. This seems logical, but I also really think my 5 year old is ready for 5-7 and would enjoy it. Thoughts?

Hi Claire! Make sure your 5 year old is ready for the writing required at Age 5-7 as well. That tends to be the area students struggle with if they're not ready. Many families choose to homeschool their children together in the way you described, and it works well for them. It ultimately comes down to what works best for your family. Let us know if you have further questions.
