Artist / Illustrator
Moving Beyond the Page needs an artist to develop student activity pages and images for online videos and math quizzes.

Moving Beyond the Page develops curriculum for homeschoolers and distance education schools that includes science, social studies, language arts, and math. The student activity pages are an integral part of our student-directed curriculum. The black and white images are generally created in Adobe Illustrator and delivered in PNG format. We are very creative in our content and ideas, and we want our student activity pages to reflect that creativity as well.

In addition to student activity pages, the artist will develop engaging and attractive color images for our online quiz tool.

Requirements
  • Must have experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Must be comfortable creating digital artwork.
  • Work hours are flexible, but must be able to commit to working 10-15 hours per week.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the artist will be to work with our authors to create Student Activity Pages and online images for our quiz tool. The content of the pages will be provided by our authors, but it is the artists responsibility to create the pages. The artist will have plenty of artistic freedom in putting the pages together. Pages should be neat, well organized, and contain attractive and related images.

Other responsibilities may include catalog layout, website design, and other graphic artwork.

Time and Hours
This position requires a minimum of 10 hours / week. Hours are flexible, but weekly deadlines must be met. Occasional meetings may be necessary, but most work is completed and turned in remotely.

Curriculum Assistant
The Curriculum Assistant will test, update, and revise material in elementary and middle-school curriculum units.

Requirements
  • Must have a degree in English or Education (or related field) OR have a math or science degree with excellent writing skills
  • Strong writing skills (must provide a writing sample); previous experience in curriculum writing preferred
  • Work hours are flexible but must be able to commit to working 10-20 hours per week
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Homeschooling experience and/or experience teaching math or science a plus
  • Must be computer literate and have strong online research skills

English Internship
This spring we have a paid internship that will include proofreading, curriculum writing tasks, and other miscellaneous projects that will enhance and improve our curriculum. This is a great opportunity for a Jr, Sr, or graduate student in English or a related field.

Qualifications
  • Ideal candidates will be in an English graduate program, but a Jr. or Sr. undergraduate is acceptable.
  • Strong writing skills are a must. You will need to provide a writing sample. This could be an essay that you have written.
  • Strong proofreading skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
This position is a remote work position. You will set your own hours and work from home.

Digital Marketing Manager
We are looking for a digital marketing manager that will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online, search, social media, and email marketing campaigns that promote our curriculum to homeschoolers and distance education schools.

Qualifications
  • Experience or certification with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other social media ad platforms is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinker that is able to comprehend and synthesize data
  • In-depth knowledge of the reporting tools used by digital marketing platforms
  • Past experience managing digital advertising campaigns is required
  • A business degree or certificate is preferred
  • Homeschool experience is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter that works well independently
This is a part-time position that will enable you to work from home and set your own hours.
