Moving Beyond the Page strives to maintain adequate inventory to enable immediate shipment of new customer orders. Occasionally, however, the publisher of a book will run out of stock and will be unable to fulfill orders for a title in a timely manner. When this happens, we will ship your order to you, place the book on backorder, and will ship it to you as soon as we receive it. Usually this will only be a few weeks, but occasionally it will take longer.

At any time before it is shipped, you may cancel the backordered book by emailing info@movingbeyondthepage.com. We only charge your credit card for a book once it has been shipped, so cancelling a backorder is a very simple process.

Moving Beyond the Page is committed to providing you with a quality literature rich curriculum. It is our policy to only offer curriculum for books that are currently in print. When a book that we are using goes out of print, we will rewrite any lessons dependent on the book within 9 months of the book going out of print.

Whenever a title is no longer available, the price of any curriculum package that would otherwise include that title is adjusted to reflect its omission. Since you will require the missing book to implement the lesson, we recommend that you check your local library, other online book resellers, or used book sellers to obtain a copy of the book. If you search for out of print titles on Amazon.com, you will usually find used copies for sale right on the website.
