Because gifted children can vary so greatly in their math ability by this age, Moving Beyond the Page does not integrate math into our program at the Age 8-10 level. We recommend RightStart Math as a comprehensive math curriculum at this level.
Multiplication, simple division, and fractions are the primary focus of RightStart Level D. The child works with numbers to one million. He also works with linear and square units in both the U.S. Customary and the metric systems. RightStart Math Starter Kit Level E

Because gifted children can vary so greatly in their math ability by this age, Moving Beyond the Page does not integrate math into our program at the Age 8-10 level. We recommend RightStart Math as a comprehensive math curriculum at this level.
The child works with percents and decimals as well as fractions in Level E. She learns short division for dividing by single digits. Some algebraic concepts are introduced, including coordinate systems.
