IdeaShare — Take an idea. Leave an idea.

Do you have a great idea for implementing a MBTP lesson? Maybe you watched a video, read a book, found a website, visited a museum or want to share a picture of your child's projects. Now you can share your great ideas with other parents. You can share web links, describe what you have done, or even upload pictures.

Lesson 1: Shifting, Drifting, and Spreading

Lesson Links
  1. U.S. Geological Survey Model Scroll about halfway down the webpage to the heading "Sea-floor Spreading Model Directions." The color image a few paragraphs above the directions will give you an idea of what the finished model will look like. Print out the images you need, and then follow the directions for assembling the model. NOTE: If you have Microsoft Word (or a word processing program that can open MS Word files), you may want to download the Word version of the webpage for easier image printing. The "MS Word 97 Version for Printing" link is located near the top of the webpage.
